No, this is not the title of a retro Renaissance play starring an ancestor of Aston Kucher. Over at Jay Lake’s Live Journal site the results of of the somewhat humorous poll of Clockpunk are out. Here are the results, and the winner is:

coolmajaka — “A literary work that shows up on time but calls you wanker.”

And here are the runner ups:

snickelish — “Clockpunk is a hymn to determinism, an aria to all that is mechanistic, a chant spoken to the rhythm of the clockwork processes of the universe.”

deangc — “Clockpunk is what everybody is tocking about.”

Happy Clocking everyone!

Although the second is the more appropriate one, i find the winner absolutely exhilarating. I’m a sucker for puns though 🙂

Yes indeed, the second one is more appropriate but like I said, this was supposed to be semi humorous.
